FIGHT NIGHTS GLOBAL 63 (April 21, Vladivostok) participant Gennadiy Kovalev shares his ambitions about the fight with Jorge Cezario de Oliveira and hopes to enter the cage for a champions belt.
“The organization decides whether I become a contender or not if I defeat Michael Hill, but in my opinion, I have enough experience. I won in Brazil, in Korea and in Japan. I won the fight with Alexei Ivanov who is considered one of the top FIGHT NIGHTS GLOBAL welterweight athletes. Why not? I’m just the kind of guy to be a contender. Let’s see who becomes the champion in Gadzhimurad Khiramagomedov versus Georgy Kichigin fight. Me, personally, I like Khiramagomedov. Gadzhimurad is a good grounder, on the other hand he can fight while standing also. He’s a more diverse fighter than Kichigin. If he is prepared, he becomes champion. When I picture myself going at Gadzhimurad in the cage I see a fantastic fight. MMA is a sport where anyone can lose. I have all that is needed to win. I visualize how I’m winning every time before the fight. At FIGHT NIGHTS GLOBAL 63 I plan to win early, do it for my fans, for Primorsky region".
